Congressional Bribery with Pork
House Democrats are showing their true colors. If you cannot prevail with a weak, pathetic and mindless ranting about the horrors of war and why we should lay down our arms in the middle of a conflict, resort to your favorite ploy. And if the GOP is not successful in thwarting this naked bribe then a pox on both your houses.
If you will lay down arms and walk away from an obligation to Iraq, the troops and long standing American principles we will agree to pay you off with pork the likes of which you’ve never seen. Hey, Pelosi, how’s that swamp draining project coming along? So do the lobbyists get paid even if you screw the American taxpayer without their help? Not to mention the armed services and all the others who would be harmed. Politicians have absolutely no shame.
