I certainly hope ‘pulling the tenth’ wasn’t the only criteria they were using.

I’m confident it was not. Just a little humor injected, like this. What? You were wearing a ’short skirt’ and sandals? No demon denim? Thank you.

That’s true. No the ACLU never compliments anybody.

I say thanks also to everybody working to keep us safe.

We don’t fly a lot, but we did a few times after 9/11. I didn’t mind the extra wait, or taking my shoes off, or having my luggage pilfered through and x-rayed, I didn’t even mind being pulled out of line because I was the 10th person. That’s right, they were not pulling people out of line to wand them because they looked suspicious, they were ordered to pull every 10th person out.

So the Arab looking guy with the beard sails right through, but me in my short skirt, sandels, and short sleeved sweater gets searched. I did not complain.

Being on the list does not prove you are a terrorist but I get your point. What bothers me is the lopsided criticism. If we can bitch about people’s mistakes, meaning honest public servants who are working hard for us, we should be able as a nation to sound off as loudly when they have obviously done well.

It’s not by accident that we haven’t been attacked again like 9/11.

I wonder if the ACLU ever complimented work done by the FBI or anyone else they continuously harass?

BTW, FBI, if you read this……thanks a bunch…… seriously….. thanks
