Fred Thompson reaches out to Iowa GOP
The good news is Fred Thompson is ahead of Democratic party candidates in Iowa. The bad news might be the longer he stays out, the higher the chance of missing a primary or caucus with all the state competition to be first. They say he is trailing Romney, Giuliani and McCain in Iowa. That would probably change if he decides to officially enter the Presidential race. The question is, which GOP candidate would he hurt the most? I’m thinking McCain. Not like McCain can afford any more bad news. If he would rethink his immigration stand he might do better.
