Honor Veterans
Injured vets now battle for benefits
Seattle Times
By Anne Hull and Dana Priest. This is the second part of a report on conditions at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC, where the wounded who cannot return to battle struggle along with their families.
This is not the first report indicating a disgusting trend. With all the discontent expressed about the war in Iraq, Afghanistan and anything else involving military operations, it would be nice if people could generate some outrage about treatment of Veterans. All the protest about war is rather empty if you don’t have enough concern about those engaged in the mission to voice outrage over this.
