How about that Harry Reid?

Sen Harry ReidHow about Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s April based on his press release archive? Maybe this will give us a view inside Harry’s head and we can tell what he has in store for us. It only makes sense that ol’ Harry would put his most significant thought and initiatives or agenda in a press release to keep the American people informed of all he is doing to address their concerns.

Starting in chronological order from the bottom of the list below, his first important mission was to explain in a press release that he needs to tell the President that his administration must follow environmental laws. I guess Harry does not understand that the Supreme Court of the United States already addressed that issue and this just looks like the kid in school that everyone remembers saying, ‘ teacher, teacher, Johnny’s not doing like you said teacher.’

The next press release is really significant. Reid’s highly important spokesman (expendable gofer) titles his PR, ‘Bush has his head in the sand.’ Is this spokesman incapable of at least having some respect for the Office of President of the United States? You want to make your point, then make your point in an intelligent fashion and it might be addressed with the respect it deserves. Resort to childish name calling directed at the President and you’ll get what you asked for, nothing.

PeaceniksThird we have a press release stating that America cannot afford the Bush strategy any longer. Sounds more to us like Harry Reid is real concerned that if the war in Iraq is allowed to continue, the distinct possibility of victory and a big plus for the troops and the President would be a success the Democratic party cannot tolerate. Their failure feeding frenzy would not be realized. They prefer life to be dismal so they can offer the American people the Democratic party mantra of ‘hope’. No despair or wailing and gnashing of teeth and they can’t offer their hope.

That is why Dems do not need any qualification of stem cell research. The research alone allows them to offer the public hope. Sort of like all those classic scams you have heard about. Just offer them hope and make it believable and they will be hooked. Push hope, not drugs. Keep them believing in your empty promise. Hope is their answer.

You can review the rest of the PRs to get a feel for the Majority Leaders’ style, plan and substance. If you find any, please let us know.

Harry Reid said it all last Friday when he stated that the Iraq War is going to net several more Senate seats for the DNC. Think that’s a reason to do everything possible to block the efforts of the Administration and whip up public support against the war?

The Dems don’t know what to do. After a dozen years in the minority, they’re lost. Been lost for longer since they lost the majority in 94.
