If You Want Hillary, You’ll Get Bill
As we get closer to the bio release date of June 16, more pieces of the Bernstein book are teasingly offered. The snippet below is representative of the article at Reuters. Hillary Rodham Clinton is a mess. Her life’s a mess. Her history is a mess. Her dubious deeds still haunt her. And can you imagine being stuck in this time warp with Bill? Life probably couldn’t get much worse. And on top of that, anything that may have once made her Presidential material has long since faded.
The old line is the woman behind the successful man. Seems fair that Bill was successful at whatever it is he does long before he met Hillary. And if you give Hillary credit for Bill’s career, how about now? Hillary is being assisted by someone who has made it already, with or without her, and if she was instrumental in his career, why does she now need him to raise enough money? Can’t she do it on her own? This would give you a repeat indicator of what it would be like to have her in the White House. Because Bill would be pulling all the strings. And God knows what else.
The best part is damage control. All the Clinton crew could offer was a remark about the story being old news. That does not make it any less valid. In fact, since she is ‘currently’ a Presidential candidate the story is even more relevant than it was before. People need to be reminded of what has been so as not to relive history’s mistakes. And this blog is more than willing to help remind everyone. And the new stuff is even worse. Like socialist leaning ideology and risk taking that is not sensible for a President.

Hillary biography questions presidential prowess

The book also describes her deep fears that she would be indicted in the scandals involving her Whitewater land deal in Arkansas or the missing billing records from the law firm where she worked.
Bernstein sees Clinton as having lost much of the advocacy and genuineness that early in her career made her a passionate attorney and campaigner. Now, he says her tenure in the U.S. Senate has been “poll-driven, focus group-driven and devoid of controversy.”

I didn’t want Bill either time and we got him and her, whether we want it or not, “We ARE the President”…
What the hell, we can’t afford another Clinton co-presidency…

I think it was a Rasmussen Report poll that said recently both the Dems and GOP are losing some followers in terms of voters. Without debating what that means or how they determined it, if it is true and their implication was these voters shifted to independent, there is a reasonable chance they remain regular voters and get called independent.
Point is, with a previous 70 million reg’d Dems and 45 million GOP’rs, if the GOP wins it is because of independents. The country may have just increased the number of independent voters. I’ll shut up now.
Thanks for stoppin’ Fred.
