Obamanation in a Nutshell

The New, New Deal
One school of thought suggests President Obama is trying to grab the brass ring and taking a huge risk by trying to pass his entire agenda through one political event. Bailouts and budgets that increase the size of government and fund everything a liberal could ever want. Okay they have an insatiable appetite so that is probably overstated.

PORKThe school of thought that opposes this strategy suggests everything about the Obama Administration and the Democratic party in total moves the United States to socialism. Many commentators whether in the MSM or the majority party dismiss this notion. That is to be expected. Even though the Bush Administration initiated the TARP program and various aspects of the bailout frenzy the new administration is using that fact to promote their continuation of policy and spending choices which rely heavily on public funding and bigger government. Public sector control and spending over private sector entities is a hallmark of socialism. This strategy could have been slowed, altered or discontinued after the 2008 Presidential election but instead was dramatically increased.

The bailout fiasco has fostered corporate, banking and homeowner welfare as well as earmarks, pork barrel spending and immense government expansion. The national debt, budget deficits, tax burdens and fiscal responsibility in general are being postponed to future generations as usual. With Mr Obama’s list of broken campaign promises in less than two months of being sworn in as President the chances his new promise of a balanced budget or cutting the deficit by the end of his first term are minimal. Even if successful the method used to achieve that goal would require massive tax increases which the gullible public is willing to accept to a large degree for the promise of financial miracles right now from the Messiah.

founding fathersThere are also constitutional risks for example in the pursuit of a voting representative for the District of Columbia in direct conflict with the founding fathers and documents. The danger connected with the fallacy of the Fairness Doctrine by this or any other name still smells of restricting free speech. Something liberals are quick to scream about unless use of it diminishes their pursuit of tyranny. If you think those words are too strong consider how weak you will be without free speech. The 2nd amendment may be quietly on the back burner for now but will emerge later in the Obama agenda. These are all matters that should concern every American. If you currently favor the Obama Administration and believe it will make things better for all, remember that is how tyranny works. After they get what they want in place you can count on all those benefits you see going away, forever.

Then there are the foreign affairs problems from the likes of Hillary Clinton and others. Reports here and on the main site as well as across the internet have chronicled the missteps of Clinton, Kerry and the President too. Senator John Kerry cozies up to state sponsors of terror while Hillary Clinton gaffes her way to Moscow with the ‘reset button’ master mistake. But let not the Messiah be outdone with the secret deal he offered Medvedev that was politically mishandled by both men before, during and after.

No discussion should be required at this point to underscore problems with the following topics; Guantanamo, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, North Korea, Japan, Britain, China and nearly every other country on the planet. The fix that liberals said was necessary shows no evidence of being present in the Obama Administration.

Obama brand of socialismBefore the big problems show any sign of improvement the White House and their co-conspirators in Congress are raising cain with embryonic stem cell research, cap and trade and a host of other issues including health care.

Try to remember this. Universal health care is another word for socialized medicine. Stop denying the connection between liberal policies and socialism. The pile of evidence is large enough to trip over with every step you take.

You want some unconfirmed details on something good to come out of the Obama Administration? That they have changed direction and decided (under some conditions) that the US will not participate in Durban II and may have had something to do with Canada and Italy following suit is one thing. Possibly helping endangered species by restarting the related Act may be another good thing. Caution on both of these items but there is a remote chance this represents two good things from the White House so far.

Supply your own two cents before it costs more than a trillion.
