Presidential Remarks on Iraq War
It is fair to say that the President’s remarks were a review of the Iraq war chronology and additions on changes in the strategy and situation in the fledgling Iraqi government with respect to cooperation. Being an anniversary it is understandable the speech would have been fairly light and intended not to stir animosity from the strained political bickering and wasting of time. Those opposed to the war fail to understand that supporting the mission to completion would provide a solution to the war faster than all their worn out and meaningless cliches that, again, do nothing but offer aid and comfort to the enemy. As if leaving Iraq without finishing the job will mysteriously end the terrorists’ agenda.
