The Daily Democrat

Mitt RomneyThis is a first. While there is plenty of evidence of less than pleasant appraisals of candidates by their opposition, this is the first time this blog can publish an account of anything with the word Democrat connected to it that does not tear into a Republican candidate with the typical combative rhetoric often accompanied by at least one of the seven words Carlin said you can’t use on TV.

The source appears to be the online version of a newspaper from Pauls Valley, OK apparently owned and operated by Community Newspaper Holdings, Inc. The newspaper is called the Pauls Valley Daily Democrat. Whether the use of the word Democrat has any relevance to the political party is unlikely but just the same it is a first. At least as described above.

The source features an announcement of a visit by Mitt Romney and gives a general, brief explanation of the candidate and some campaign information. It was a pleasant change from the usual examples in the press.
