Reactions to Vilsack drops out of presidential race
DES MOINES, Iowa Reactions are pouring to Democrat Tom Vilsack’s decision to drop out of the presidential race.
The decision by Iowa’s former governor still leaves a crowded field of eight Democrats, including Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Senator Barack Obama (ber-AHK’ oh-BAH’-muh) and John Edwards.
Democrats voice disappointment of Vilsack’s withdrawal. Privately they probably think otherwise. GOP candidates are likely to be more honestly disappointed as his campaign may have diluted some Dem voting at least in Iowa. But you gotta love that pronumciation help in the notice above. How come there’s no help pronouncing Vilsack’s name?
Will Hillary Clinton be next? We can only hope. But watching her get beat by other cnadidates would be fun.
