War Pandering of Reid and Pelosi
The only new direction in Iraq I am united for has the Democrats abandoning their cut and run withdrawal that is now thinly disguised as featuring they won’t cut off funds to the troops they claim to support. The only reason for that change is retaking the nation’s temperature and realizing cut and run is not what they want.
How can you claim to support the troops when continuously criticizing the war and stating it is lost and nothing but leaving will satisfy you? Redeployment before the mission is complete is still cut and run. Publicly denouncing the war is not how you support the troops. If your ‘new direction’ slogan means abandoning the principles that have made this country strong, you need to move to a different country. Rather than your new direction, Americans want their country back. After the midterms, I could certainly use a recall election.
