What About 33 Senate Seats in 2008?
In the 2008 campaign season it seems the focus has been on the Presidential race. The issue positions of as many as 33 of the 100 senators may be explained primarily by re-election politics. That may not be a surprise to you, but few in the media or the public appear to be giving this near constant fact due consideration.

While announcements or rumors of the retirements of senators like Allard, Biden Baucus and Warner, to name a few, the election is far enough in the future to dictate politics as usual. The senators we would not mind seeing replaced are in bold type. Not that it really matters what we think. But if we can get people thinking about this it might truly matter. And just because a senator is not in bold type now, doesn’t mean they won’t be later. Before election time they could all be in bold type. Perhaps we will follow this up with why they are in bold type.
Their offices will be getting calls from us tomorrow. Ooh, I know they’re shaking in their boots. But the more people who do this the better. Beyond the immigration scam, there are many other extremely important issues to address.
