Women in Politics: Investigate Sen. Feinstein
Senator Diane Feinstein’s OFFICE denies conflict of interest charges. But did Senator Diane Feinstein herself, personally and publicly deny any wrongdoing? As the article referenced below points out, there are many more reasons to suggest conflict of interest than there are to think everything is simply innocent. Again, and we do get tired of repeating ourselves, Senator Henry Waxman should be forming a panel to hold hearings about this right now. If the Dems want to convince the American public that they will ‘drain the swamp’ in Washington, there hasn’t been a better example for proving it. Investigate one of your own to prove your sincerity.

As chairperson of the Milcon commitee, Senator Feinstein approved the award of contracts to her husband’s companies. Now she plans to chair the committee that will be looking into her own conflicts of interest.
If there is no conflict of interest here, there is no suchn thing as a conflict of interest!
And I thought the Republicans were corrupt!

There was reason enough to stay on this story but your comment certainly raises more questions.
I see corruption as a lack of character in an individual. I think attributing corruption to a group, like a political party, is misleading as it may unfairly prejudice public opinion against individuals in a group who are not corrupt.
Worthwhile contributions to the discussions are always accepted. Thank you for your input.
(Stanford asked me to ‘clean up my act’ a little bit as I am told I may be a little abrasive from time to time.) My response here was sincere and not influenced by that observation.
