					<description>There was reason enough to stay on this story but your comment certainly raises more questions.
I see corruption as a lack of character in an individual.  I think attributing corruption to a group, like a political party, is misleading as it may unfairly prejudice public opinion against individuals in a group who are not corrupt.
Worthwhile contributions to the discussions are always accepted.  Thank you for your input.
(Stanford asked me to 'clean up my act' a little bit as I am told I may be a little abrasive from time to time.)   My response here was sincere and not influenced by that observation. :-)</description>

					<description>As chairperson of the Milcon commitee, Senator Feinstein approved the award of contracts to her husband's companies.  Now she plans to chair the committee that will be looking into her own conflicts of interest.

If there is no conflict of interest here, there is no suchn thing as a conflict of interest!

And I thought the Republicans were corrupt!</description>
